Private or enterprise social networking (ESN) is a
paradigm shift in internal communication. As we all know, the change of a
paradigm (a set of assumptions, concepts, values, and practices) requires some
time and that is why adoption rates of social software is so low. The implementation of social
software such as Yammer, Jive, Chatter, Socialcast and others is not
challenging from technical perspectives but is complicated from social and
psychological perspectives. My study focuses on factors that impact of ESN adoption
rates in organizations. Usually, I invite ESN managers to take a survey
I hope organizations seeking to unlock ESN value and change how people
communicate will benefit from this study
