I have defended my research proposal and finally am able to start the collection of data.The first step in the data collection involved soliciting an organization's participation through an e-mail inquiry to the right person in the organization. In addition to traditional methods of contacting potential participants like e-mail, I will post the invitations at various discussion boards, online communities portals and public social networks.
I attempt to create a list of discussion boards for social media managers or social enterprise communities managers, social software user groups or portals for social intranet managers. I hope it is not the situation where 'The cobbler's children go unshod" and community managers have a virtual place to discuss their business and passion
